Musical Baton
Egeus passed to yours truly.. but Miss Juneberry will not pass it on...Total Volume of Music files on my computer:
Erm not big.. i only download those songs which i think are good but does not justify buying the entire album for (the musicians and artistes can only blame themselves for producing trash)
The Last CD I bought was:
F.I.R 无限... but it's still in its packaging
hmmnnn... i bought it 'cos i think they deserve my $$ for making good music..

5 songs I listen to alot or that mean alot to me:
1) YMCA (by ??) - The first song I played in band with my fellow new recruits... those who were there (i.e Chu)... you still remember how someone can just start the first beats and everyone will just spontaneously join in regardless of where we were?? My most memorable was the time we stood along the corridor in front of the band room to play this song.
2) 天黑黑 (Stef Sun) - Just change granny to grampa...
3) 我只在乎你 (Teresa Teng) - My song when i first participated in a singing competition.. we did it in a group.. hahhaa those were the days ^_^
4) Incantation and Dance (John Barnes Chance - Band Music) -
My first SYF piece.. to those who were there (i.e Chu again) .. you still remember the story we cooked up abt peiying being the witch and her "swinging" bassoon being the "ladle"?..
i still remember the triplets that we practiced so much just to make sure they sound even ... Peiying's "1234, again.. 1234, again".. the middle part which of course i can still play with my eyes closed.. the first running notes that we "mastered"..
This is also the song which propelled us to the Top 5 Gold band.. breaking our long 20 yr bronze/silver spell... It's the first time I cried out of sheer happiness.. we all did... hugging each other and jumped and laughed and cried...
(aside: the title of this song also reminds me of our unique band cheer)
5) The Gift (Colin Raye) - The first song I signed .. it's so deeply ingrained in me that i can sign it anytime anywhere

oh my!! yupz... it was the first time we played all tog... we were just practising our parts in sections and the magic of how it all came tog to form a piece of music... woohooo..
and the talent time we took part... we actually got thru that first round lor... hee..
and of cos Incantation and SYF, the first time i cried from happiness...
those were really the days... ^__^
we are all 'da ren' le.... =P
haiz.. i really miss those days in sec sch and the band..
i'm glad you are still around and that our frenship didn't just end after graduation =)
