Read the "it's a wrap" entry on sin's blog and thought I'll do one for myself too.

Kim Sam Soon had a top-7 list of to-dos when she finally got herself a boyfriend.. I'll have a top-7 list of major bimbotic happenings in 2006.

Top 7 - Not in order of importance

1. Found some long-lost frens

Primary school:
F o o k c h e n - the boy who sat next to me in primary sch
Had a lot of fun with this boy when he sat next to me in primary sch. In fact, we had so much fun together that classmates always tease us (as per the usual primary sch kids). We lost touch after graduation from pri sch.
Imagine my surprise when I received his msg on friendster sometime ago. Thank goodneess for the small population in Singapore. Everyone is someone's friend's friend/relative/acquaintance.

D a r e n - the boy who was my classmate and who got into Project superstar
Okay, I didn't really "find" him per se.. since we did not keep in touch. Hmmnn, but it's good to see him again (albeit as an audience) on TV.

Secondary school:
Found some frens with whom I didn't keep in touch after sec sch e.g. Kaisin, Huijuan, Huiling, Xiaowei, Liangshuang, Yuheng ,(and others who did not attend but whom I have their contact numbers)

We finally have that class outing (7 years after graduation) we have always been thinking of but did not have the initiative to organise.
Many thanks to Kaisin who had the foresight to keep a copy of our RV class list that 7 years ago, and who took the trouble to find out everyone's hp no.s, call, and persuade everyone to attend, prepare a new class list with contact numbers for everyone to keep.
Felt quite nolstalgic when I saw that old class list again after so many years. Hohoho.

Everyone has matured in their own ways - some more and some less (Huiling still look like sec sch student!!.. envious man..). As you know, every class has its own 难念地经.
However, with the euphoria of seeing each other after all these years, the 恩恩怨怨s of 当年s lay forgotten as we catch up with each other at Lerk Thai Expo (and subsequently some coffee place at bugis).
Nice dinner, nice ambience, nice company. 4D 万岁！！

Just wondering, at the rate we are going, will it be at someone's wedding, and will someone be toting kids when we next meet up? wahahaa!


2. 白薇秀 got kicked out of top 10 红星 by Kym Ng.
Way to go, Kym!!


3. My sister got herself a boyfriend.
I still can't get over the fact that her boyfriend is her sec sch classmate.


4. New idols and idol dramas (as I said, this is a bimbotic top 7 list)
Dramas -
Goong (宫-野蛮王妃) - a fun drama though i think it was quite draggy towards the back;

Hana Kimi (花样少年少女）- this is a refreshing break from all the 哭哭啼啼 taiwan idol dramas helmed by idols who cannot act (i.e. 5566 and some others).
Hana Kimi is filled with smart gags and above average acting by all the actors/actresses. Highly recommended. (bear in mind I'm a hard-to-please audience).

New idols -
Kim Jeong Hoon (aka Prince Yul in Goong) - High IQ, good-looking, can act .. swoon..

Wang Dong Cheng (汪东城) from Fahrenheit (飞轮海) (as 金秀伊 in Hana Kimi) - cute, can act (has great comic timing). He is my top guy at the moment .. though I heard he is a 花心robert. He is not as good-looking as Wu Zun.. but he has this x-factor that 吸引 your 目光. I like. Hee~~
Wu Zun (吴尊) from Fahrenheit (as 左以泉 in Hana Kimi) - Gorgeous, can act, has a pair of beautiful peepers. E'nuff said.


5. Ran my first 10km - When I was struggling with 2.4km for NAPFA tests in sch, never did i expect that someday i will be able to run 4 times that distance, and with good timings (ermm.. but that was 4 months ago .. aha)


6. Lost my favourite handphone overseas - It's abt the phone and it's abt the contacts, msges, videos, picts stored in the phone. :'(


7. I saw a full rainbow (with a twin above it) - amazing.

With that, I conclude my bimbotic top 7 list. Seems like nothing really exciting happened in 2006 yar.

Hope that 2007 will be better. *cross fingers*
